Aimee W. Poirier is an Acupuncturist, Certified Radical Remissions Workshop Facilitator, International Speaker and Writer. For Almost 20 Years Aimee has practiced Tong Ren Therapy beside the founder, her mentor Tom Tam.

As co-owner of Collective Healing Center, where she practices Acupuncture in Metro Boston, Aimee has maintained a private practice in Acupuncture since 2004. Aimee obtained a B.A. from Mount Holyoke College, she has a Masters degree in Chinese and Japanese acupuncture from the New England School of Acupuncture, the country’s first and oldest acupuncture school. She is certified in Tong Ren Therapy from the Oriental Cultural Institute and has worked closely with Boston based acupuncturist Tom Tam since September 2001.

Cause they're, you know, it's, we need to start kind of, it's a beautiful education for children to understand about the blockage theory. It's really nice to let them integrate this at a young age because that will set the foundation. So as they get older, they'll say, Oh yeah. Remember at mom took me to do this thing and it helped me get better because I learned that I had resistance in my body and that that resistance could cause some other home with my health or with how the mind is, you know, uh, like we do a lot of add ADHD children as well as for adults.

And I was wondering if with, so with, um, my daughter with the eating disorder, you know, the brain, you get basically a traumatic brain. And I was thinking like, well, maybe that would be a good way to sort of help her brain because I don't, other than feeding her, like, I don't really know what else to do. The blood flow to the brain is the best way to heal any brain problem or trauma or brain. Yes. And you're right in through all of the, and, and then getting that good blood rich blood to the brain. Yeah. Yeah. So the, the massage in between is really phenomenal with that as well as Tom gray. And you can expose them a little bit when you feel like it to the Tongan classes online through the broadcast.

And so what I did was I just kind of used to pull up the, um, like some stock photos that are really great. I'm sorry. I know I'm trying to adjust the camera here and also read the, but it's really powerful, you know, to also add that visual in.
